“Mode Apartments” 25-29 Wilson Street, South Yarra
We write to congratulate KALAS on the successful completion of two of our recent projects, MODE South Yarra and 211 Dorcas Street South Melbourne (39 and 28 apartments respectively). From the tender stage, KALAS sought to understand our product, customer base and project intentions. Throughout the building period they were pro active and effective in decision making. Both projects were a success for a I parties, and the expected standards of finish were met to an exceptional level. Noteworthy benefits of working with KALAS included:

KALAS adapted well to changes in project requirements whilst effectively controlling costs (an example being the re design of the penthouse level in MODE)
KALAS undertook value management processes to meet project cost objectives, whilst remaining conscious of the quality and design finish expectations
KALAS understood the importance of key sales and in marketing design features and worked closely with the client to meet such objectives (an example being the unique MODE breakfast bars)
KALAS worked to resolve challenging site and building constraints (an exam p e being the basement re-design and construction methodology at Dorcas Street as a result of foundation issues)
The feedback from buyers was overwhelmingly positive and the settlement period ran smoothly which can, in part, be attributed to the quality of finish. Defects were minimal and all were completed prior to handover. We are confident these two projects will provide a timeless legacy for both Perri Projects and KALAS Construction, and one that we are both proud of. We would d not hesitate to recommend KALAS for any future projects of similar size and nature.
